Accrediting agencies recognized by the US Department of Education are required to notify regional accreditors, selected specialized accreditors, relevant state agencies responsible for postsecondary education and the general public of final accreditation decisions. Final accreditation action taken by the Council at its most recent decision-making meeting appear below. However, if the decision was to accredit, the same schools and programs will also appear in our searchable list of accredited schools and programs.
