The Indiana University Department of Public Health offers MPH and PhD degrees on the IUPUI campus in Indianapolis. The IUPUI campus is ranked 8th best public university in the Midwest by Forbes magazine and 5th among “Universities to Watch” by U.S. News and World Report.

The Department of Public Health is housed in the country’s second largest medical school on our state’s health sciences campus. The 45-credit MPH Program currently offers concentrations in environmental health science, epidemiology, health policy and management, and social and behavioral sciences. A fifth MPH concentration in biostatistics will be offered starting in fall 2011. The 90-credit PhD in epidemiology enrolled its first students in fall 2010.

The Department of Public Health is located in downtown Indianapolis and has many linkages with government agencies and community organizations. Our campus and community partnerships provide MPH and PhD students with a rich environment for scholarly work, practical public health experiences and collaborative research.
