The Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine was launched in New Orleans in 1912 and our internationally renowned faculty have been leading efforts to improve public health ever since. Our mission is to advance public health knowledge, promote health and well-being, and prevent disease, disability and premature mortality.
We are a leader in global health with more than 1,400 students and 100 faculty, representing more than 70 cultures from around the world.
