The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) is the state’s public academic health, law and human services university devoted to leadership and excellence in professional and graduate education, research, public service and patient care.
MPH students have the opportunity to pursue public health education in an outstanding multi-disciplinary environment at UMB, consisting of six professional schools (dentistry, law, medicine, nursing, pharmacy and social work). Students enrolled in one of the professional schools can pursue the following dual degrees: |

The MPH Program offers three concentrations: epidemiology, community & population health and global health. The MPH Program is dedicated to improving the health status of populations and reducing health disparities. Our interdisciplinary faculty, consisting of epidemiologists, biostatisticians, clinicians, health economists, behavioral scientists, researchers and physicians, serves as a valuable resource and provides rich learning opportunities for our students.
