UMDNJ/Rutgers/NJIT

Achieve your public health education goals in New Jersey…  it’s a microcosm of the nation and has great destinations in any direction, including the Jersey Shore, the Appalachian Trail, farms that produce Jersey Fresh fruits and vegetables and national treasures like the Statue of Liberty and the Liberty Bell.

Whether you're a working professional or ready to commit to a full-time program, the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-School of Public Health (UMDNJ-SPH) can help you strike a balance between learning, life and work.

As the nation’s first collaborative school of public health, our expert faculty from UMDNJ; Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (RU); and the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) can help you gain the competitive advantage of a graduate education. We offer MPH, MS, DrPH and PhD degrees, as well as many dual degrees and certificate programs. Through our three campuses--Newark, Piscataway/New Brunswick and Stratford/Camden--and eight departments, your education opportunities are extensive.

Our evening schedule makes it convenient for you to continue working or gain experience while earning your public health degree or certificate. We provide students with opportunities to participate in leading public health research and access to resources of UMDNJ, RU and NJIT. Plus, students can put their public health education into practice through participating in our international health or community service projects organized by the Student Government Association and V.O.I.C.E.S. (Volunteer Opportunities In Community Engaged Service), our student-run organization. So, make a difference by bringing your passion and enthusiasm to public health at UMDNJ-SPH.
